Nice one Shrew! I like the strong identity of the police vest and the reflection in the car yet he’s anonymous in seeing him from the back. And as I’ve said before I think the focus on the subject with the background blurred is a very nice effect.
It almost becomes an abstract design representing the police, rather than one particular subject. The reflection in the car blends into the actual vest, and his hat sort of blends into the background. Very cool!
I am glad this worked. Mr. Policeman was all serious and what not making sure runners were safe in the 510K. I tried getting his face but he didn’t want any of that.
I think the reflection in the car is my favorite part of this shot. Being the wife of a cop, my eyes are drawn to his uniform; I notice the yellow polo shirt – is this regular uniform in Westfield or is that just for the race detail?
