  1. brc, are these from the camera that you were ready to toss out the window? Well I sure hope you didn’t because they are great! I like the light in the top one. (the display of hanging chips is cracking me up by the way) And the water in the bottom one is so sharp and clear. Love the little bit of leaves in the corner too.

By the way, I have always wanted to try a Chicago dog! You are making me hungry.

  2. Yes Renae, these were taken with my bad camera. It’s not that it takes bad pictures, it’s just that I’m trying to learn how to manipulate photos manually by adjusting the shutter and the aperture and it is not very easy or intuitive to use. So all of the photos you see taken by me are done with the automatic setting.

You really must visit Chicago one day and try one of our “dogs.” They’re the best.

And I’d just like to add that if someday I am relegated to selling hot dogs to earn my living I would rather do it on a boat than in some hot stuffy trailer in a parking lot!

  3. Very cool, brc! Talk about lots of pictures of folks not doing your typical 9-to-5 job! (Wait a second, who works 9-5 anyway? I work 8-5.)

I like the light too, and the red of the Open flag and the sign on front make it all pop a bit.

  4. Wow! What a cool idea! Hot Dogs for sale on a boat – totally awesome. And the pictures are pretty cool too! Almost as good as a “swim-up” bar, right, Jenfera?
