Beautiful shot, Shrew. The colors of the roses and the background remind me of an antique teapot (not one teapot specifically, just in general, ya know what I mean?).
Yes, I agree…very antiqu-ee. It reminds me of an old fashioned wallpaper pattern actually. But I think they make me feel sad…couldn’t tell you why, but the photo gives me an unsettled feeling. Strange.
Those roses are too perfect for words. And the natural light is fantastic.

I like it. I think Photoshop might make it look better in a technical sense, but the subdued colors and lighting make it look more … romantic.
At least that’s what I think. But what do I know. I’m too busy photographing clouds.
